Hi Guys,
Just wondering if this is possible before setting up.We want to be able to create a custom recurring invoice for a domain renewal.
So of the domains we have are not in a reseller account and we renew these manually. So these wont be automated.
So can we setup and invoice for our client for a domain name and let them pay it via their account.
Then once we get notification it has been paid, we renew it manually? Thanks
Hi.
I'm currently doing this. I have a couple of TLDs that don't have any API for provisioning, and also other types of products, like mailboxes and so on.
You can set notifications to be sent to you and your team for many events and configure them at the product level.
There's also a new Webhook feature released a couple of weeks ago. You can basically receive event notifications on any endpoint you have.
I haven't tried that yet but I believe it could be useful to you.

Hi @Chris, did you have a chance to take a look at this?
I tried again with an SVG and Upmind converts it into a square logo instead of showing it as is.

Hi.
Please consider adding this ability to the quick order (add existing order) functionality:
- Ability to select the provisioning provider. Currently it tries to match with the default provisioning provider for the selected product, but in some cases there could be many provisioning profiles for the same product. For example: namesilo and domainname api for ".com". And it would be nice for us as admins to be able to select "domain name api" instead of defaulting to namesilo (for example).
- Allow us to choose if the first invoice would be credited or not. Right now, the add existing order credits 100% of the first invoice, it would be nice to have the ability to select for that invoice to be available for payment after creating the order. This would give us the ability of importing orders that have pending invoices in another platforms and recreate the invoice in upmind.
Thanks.

Great news! Thanks

When clients fill out the fields for domain registration they're asked to fill the SLD, but sometimes they could make a mistake and put the complete domain name.
Please consider:
1. Sanitize this field, when saved, remove the TLD if necessary.
2. Add a little hint at the side of the field, to indicate the TLD is already included (See image below).
Thanks.

It's apparently not happening to PNG files, which are working just fine as far as I could test. Maybe is a SVG only thing.
It would be nice to be able to use SVGs though.

Hi Chris, that's a great addition, although I thought there might be something wrong, I thought it might be a bug due to the upload order, but I've been able to confirm that's not the case.
For some reason the horizontal logo works correctly when uploaded, but after a few hours it stops working and is displayed in 1:1 format.
I'm experiencing the same thing in the client area. After some time, the logo shows smaller as if it were 1:1. But at first it works.
To be more specific, I uploaded an SVG configured with width="283px" and height="81px", but If I download logo (save as) and inspect it, now the SVG has width="200" and height="200". The file was modified along the way.

@ThinkTech Hosting @Luis @silentwarrior
I'm pleased to report horizontal logos are now supported natively. We recommend aspect ratios of either 1:1, 2:1 or 3:1 (max).Great news!

It would be great if we can have a live preview of the invoice template while editing the HTML. I'm not talking about visual editing, but a live preview maybe in another tab.
So the preview would show an invoice with a complete set of fake customer and invoice data and would update automatically while we modify the html (or on save).
Right now what I'm doing is: 1) tweak the invoice template, 2) go to a client and regenerate an invoice, 3) download it and check it, 4) go back to tweaking the template. It's not a very effective way to do it.
I believe this will dramatically improve template generation and would allow us to generate beautiful templates quickly.
Thanks.

Hi.
I just wanted to let you know of some minor user interface issues that would be nice to have fixed.
In the navigation menu, there are some items that take more than a line in their translated versions, but in these cases the padding between them is missing.
It also happens in the client area, but in a different way. (I set this long category name just for testing purposes).

Please consider adding support for the Portfolio feature in Namesilo's integration. The portfolio is a way to separate domain registration in their system.
With portfolio support we could have different providers setup in Upmind for the same Namesilo account and have each one to use different Portfolio.
You could allow us to set the Portfolio in the provisioning account configuration "admin/host/domain-names/registrars" and send it when registering a domain and other pertinent operations.
https://www.namesilo.com/api-reference#domains/register-domain
As you can se in their API reference, it's available to use.
Thanks.

Hi Seb, Team
Are there plans to add localization to the provisioning fields? We still have english only labels for domains and such in the front end.
Thanks

@Seb, no replies yet here
Look at this comment. They have provisioning and domains code available in GitHub.
If you're a developer maybe you can make a module yourself and ask them to review and merge it into Upmind.
https://github.com/upmind-automation/provision-provider-domain-names#supported-providers
I haven't tried myself though.

Hi @Seb Was this feature implemented?
I like this.
It would also be great if we can put our custom pdf in place of the system's generated one. So clients can see and re download it.

You can have only one registrar per TLD for client purchases. Meaning that when a client buys a new domain it will be registered with the default.
But you can have multiple registrars configured and use them to import/create orders for existing products in that registrar (as an admin)

I believe Upmind doesn't have a way to retrieve available domains from tlds with manual provisioning.
Maybe you can ask your provider if they have a spinner or a way for you to implement it in your site.

This works but it works for all basket.
I need the custom field to work for just one hosting plan not for all.Yes. I don't know how to archive that currently

I have a plan that requires a user to input details about his business.
There's something called "basket custom fields". I've never used them though, but it seems like it's what you need. Maybe you can give it a try.

Will it appear when the client is purchasing an hosting.
I mean for as specific hosting plan?I believe client fields are for all clients and not tied to specific plans.
Plans use blueprints and they have the fields required to configure them. For example, webhosting, servers, website builders, etc.
There's no current way of altering those, but custom blueprints are in the roadmap as far as I know.
What field, for example, do you need to add?

Hi @Seb@Chris, would you have any comments on this?
I think provisioning is the only part that is not localized.
Thanks.
