When is the API documentation released?

T1Daniel

Question

Hi,
Im exploring Upmind and I must say that it looks amazing! I can't wait to get my hand on the API and build a headless wordpress hosting site with react!
Does anyone know:

  • When does the API Documentation release?
  • How can I get notified when it does?

Cheers!

Hi Daniel

In theory you can use it now -- you can examine the API request our frontend makes and simply copy the requests.

We've also got documentation up at https://demoapi.upmind.io/doc/

It's by any standards a comprehensive and decent API, but what it's lacking is user-friendly explanatory documentation on our side, and the ability for you to generate API tokens. For now (unless you are a guest) you have to authenticate with an admin user/pass. We'll be working on the docs as well as an SDK in the future.

Hi @Seb - Do you have a sample of the API file? I am trying to post api/tickets in postman but getting a 400 Bad request. Would I use my own URL?

Hi there,

Please use our production API endpoint located at api.upmind.io/api/products. We’re in the process of creating detailed documentation, which is already included in our feature roadmap here: https://features.upmind.com/p/launch-comprehensive-api-docs

For now, feel free to explore the API. The upcoming documentation will offer further insights once it’s ready.

We apologize for any inconvenience you may have faced, and we appreciate your understanding and patience regarding this matter.

Regards,
Isma
