  1. So on adding the billing data - we've got this feature coming soon

    Actually we had this feature before, but some beta testers wanted the opposite (to remove as many barriers to ordering as possible!).

    We'll make settings so you can enable/disable this.

    So next week we should have the ability to require address.

    After that we've got conditions coming to require a phone number and also company details.

  2. So this is something that is planned so you can set the from email

     

    However, you can actually use your own SMTP out. The incoming is standalone and will still work. Just set up piping from your own email to the destination mailbox it shows you under the  support tickets settings page.

    Maybe for Beta-Users now, and after Beta for an additional "Customize Footer"-Fee?
    Like 5-10$, which gives you the option to write your own Footer.

    We can now remove the powered by upmind branding. We charge a nominal fee for the branding removal to offset the marketing loss

    We try and make this clear when signing up and it's right at the top of our 'first steps' guide https://docs.upmind.com/docs/configuration-notes

    The reason it is fixed is because all of our reporting is consistent and tied back to the initial currency. So all the statistics, and accounting, remains in that default currency. All other currency payments are converted at the point of generation/payment to the default currency

    There isn't really a way to change this after the first invoices + transactions are in.

     

     

  5. Update: We have changed translation systems and the below is now revised!

     

    We want to put Upmind in as many languages as possible. At present our default language is English but we also have partial translations in French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Greek, German, Indonesian, Norwegian and Bulgarian.

    We have a *lot* of phrases and words to translate (~20,000). These have been done partially by translators and partially by automation. Often this misses the context.

    If you are already using a foreign language in the app you may also see incorrect or clunky translations, or even placeholders.

    We really need Upmind users to help with the translations. 

    We are looking for volunteers to help translate the app into different languages.

    We use lokalazy.com with the translations, so it's really easy to do. See the screenshot.

    If you would like to help please let us know in this thread with the language you can help with. We will invite you to a private forum where we can discuss the translations and then invite you to localazy.com if you want to go ahead.

    Q. What is involved?
    In localazy.com, adding translations for keys and phrases. You can see the English version (or another language) to compare with. localazy.com will suggest translations from google translate which can often just be accepted. You can also review existing translations and change them.

    Yes. This is automated!

    Help us to fix them!

    Yes very good idea. Basically all the functionality is there -- we just need to adjust the frontend to autoselect (and not allow deselect) of a mandatory product option where there is no choice. Then this can be labelled setup fee.
