Sure - Ill ensure you are added 🙂

Thanks. I'm working on those already.

Just a quick question. I'm doing an american english translation (I don't know if you'll include it but just in case), and I'd like to know if these are only labels or they actually format the date.

If I change them to MM/DD/YYYY, would the date show wrong, or would the system actually convert them to that format?

  2. I already created a localazy account and I'm working on 2 sets of translations (my username there is [email protected])

    - Latin American Spanish (was already there)

    - American English (I created this)

Please consider adding them when I'm done (if possible). American english has a few changes (ex. basket -> cart, Organisation -> Organization, etc.).

Please also consider giving me access to the front end localazy project. There are some weird texts in the Spanish translation (in the back end managment UI, which I think is considered front end), that I'd like to fix.

    Regards.

  3. As a continuation of this topic, but regarding hosting servers (whm, plesk, etc.)

Each hosting server should have their own name server configuration, independend from the others, since maybe not all hosts offer DNS hosting.

I believe the logic should be something like this:

    • If clients buy only domains, the domain registrar's name servers would be used (should be configurable by registrar).
    • If clients buy domain + hosting, the hosting's server's name servers sould apply to the domain (should be configurable by hosting server or package).

This way clients would start using the hosting package right away and no having to change the DNS configuration afterwards.

    Thanks.

  4. There is a possibility that cilents only order domain names + other non provisionable services (like emails and so on).

I see there's a global name servers default for domains here: admin/host/domain-names/settings. But generally each registrar would have their own name servers (at least the ones that host DNS for free), so I believe it would be escential that each registrar configuration also include the nameservers for that registrar.

So if clients order only domains, those nameservers would be configured. But if they order domain + hosting, the hosting service namesevers would take over.

  5. NameSilo have different payment accounts that you can use to pay for domain renewals (besides using account funds). Some of them can be credit cards, paypal, and so on.

Would you consider adding that configuration to the namesilo integration module? To be able to set one specific payment account method.

BTW, what method does the current integration use? I believe account funds is the default, if not specified.

  6. Most of my doimains are managed by NameSilo, so that's the first module/integration I'm focusing on, on the migration I'm starting.

I have a few ccTLD domains managed by a local registrar without any integration capabilities, so I need to manage the domains manually. I still want to add them to upmind and treat them as domains, but maybe only invoice them and be reminded of the expiration date.

Is there a way to do that right now? I was thinking of adding them as a regular product (without integration) but I don't know if domains are treated differently.

It may be a good idea to implement a kind of "offline registrar" we can add and rename just like on the payment methods section, with all the billing capabilities but w/o the API logic.

I think if we offer this it's likely to be some way away. Our codebase is an extremely high standard and billing is deeply integrated - it's not just a case of adding a charge. We'd also want to have refunds / tokenisations / reversals / pending payments etc.

We're trying to get global coverage as quickly as possible, and focusing on gateways that it's easy to sign up with.

    I understand.

It's just in case it's possible and to keep it in mind for the future.

    Thanks.

  8. I was looking at your roadmap and I found this:

"Coming Soon: Write and integrate your own provisioning modules to integrate with custom or proprietary services."

Will you consider also enable us to create and integrate our own payment gateways? Sometimes there are some very country/currency specific like digital wallets, local CC processors, etc.

Couple of ways you can do this

    1. If you go to the product in the shop you will see a share icon you can click and that will give you a link to copy

    2. On the product page you can copy the direct link to the shop page

You can also pass currency as a variable as well as promotions

Thanks, I will look into that.

  10. Hi.

With the current software I'm using, each product is linkeable.

For example, I have a custom website where I offer the products and when clients click on the "buy" button they're redirected to the specific order section for that product by adding query string to the url, like this:

    portal.doman.tld?orderform=x&language=xx&currency=xx, and so on.

This way you can direct your customers (for example) to the web hosting order section, with a currency and language set in case they don't already have an account.

Is this doable with upmind? I couldn't find info on the docs.

    Te problems would be

    1. opening a ticket by forwarding the email. I doesn’t work for me, only if I send it directly to the upmind domain.
    2. not receiving notifications.

How would I open a ticket? I’m not currently on a paid plan, since I’m thinking of migrating slowly, support tickets first.

I figured it out, I will open a ticket

  13. I was doing tests and I discovered what’s happening.

I added a subdomain as my default domain in Upmind but ny support email forwarders are mailboxes for the main domain.

So the solution I found was to add the main domain also as trusted, but not point it to Upmind.

Emails started getting received and creating tickets

No email notifications going out still though.

  14. Hi.

I'm trying to setup support departments. I created (or rather modified) the default general support department in order to test the system.

I configured the an email alias to forward emails to this way: clients send support emails to info@[customdomain.tld] and it forwards to [email protected] (which is my upmind domain).

I own my email server and have checked the logs, email is received and forwarded correctly but no ticket is created on the panel. I have a custom domain pointed to the service and remote SMTP server also set-up and working fine. The email is sent from a address that exists as a client.

Would you help me check out what's happening?

    Thanks.

  15. Hi.

I have an agency type client. This means they're billed for everything but their clients get access to their own cpanel and so on. I'm currently managing all the services as part the agency's account and if a client decides to go solo, we can move them into a separate account.

It would be nice if final clients can have an account and be able to manage their services, dns, panel accounts and so on, but maybe have the invoices view disabled. Or maybe have their separate accounts/logins but bill everything to the agency.

Is this something I can archive with upmind? Maybe is a little convoluted.

Just to confirm these were added last week. If anyone needs other base currencies let us know

Also, for anyone reading this in India and using Stripe, we suggest that you set the default currency as INR and only allow that currency. Stripe will not let you process foreign currencies as an Indian sole trader.

I'd like to request the PYG currency.

I actually want to default the store to USD, but be able to set prices in both USD and PYG for every product/domain, etc.

I also saw someone requesting Colombian peso.

We have had it requested yes - we will reach out to them and ask for a technical contact

It would be nice, they support a lot of countries that doesn't support stripe or PayPal, and they implement a way to receive payments with paypal, even if you don't have a business account.
