Constantly getting errors trying to register a domain - I gave it overnight in case there was somethign mysterious going on, and clicked on register (retyped the phone number first). It came back with a could not find domain error!! 5 minutes later I then tried the same again and got the provider API error 😕

Hi folks
been trying to test as a client registering a domain using Resellerclub. Couple issues that I created ticket about (minor). My last issue is that it is still failing on connection. Could we get a test connection button against each registrar to test instead of having to send an order in live to see if it works?

I’m not in a rush, will see what happens with the new pricing. Was just happy to pay smaller amount as a token to help in a small way. Our enhance cloud and integration has a few teething problems, so by the time I sort that, it will be January likely

So we are hopeful to spin up and start selling our new cloud, based on enhance control panel - having a few teething issues but almost at the point of getting volunteers to test! In our normal welcome emails we say that you can use our server domain name until your domain has propagated, then you can use yourdomain.com/cpanel . However, with enhance, there is no /cpanel !
Is anyone creating a custom dns record to allow clients to login using their own domain name? Or are you just using "server name" which is the control panel server?? If anyone wants to share their welcome email templates I would be delighted to steal some 😉

when I manually send a message and select the New Hosting Account ifnromation one - it sends the below text to the client. The original automated email sends correctly, just not when I choose to resend??

regardless of what we (I) think of other products pricing etc, I think we all recognise the value in this product and want the best for upmind and for us. I look forward to seeing what is suggested and continuing to have productive conversations in these forums for many moons to come.

I do think our pricing is extremely extremely good value (especially as it's free for most of our users) -- but there are obviously edge cases like where you use freelancers where it can get expensive that wasn't intended.

I do agree with you to a certain extent, but not in other ways. For example, £17 month inc vat is a lot for one staff member on a project that makes not much income for example. However, if its running an established busniness, its really not that much (when you consider it also includes hosting, email security etc etc). I was hoping for a black friday discount in order to pay upmind instead of being on a free version for my project - but where £17 is just too much where there is a lack of integrations and features (ie invoicing, directadmin / ovh / other integrations). I would happily pay £10 month with no actual clients on my project and perhaps migrate some real clients to it, knowing there are limitations - if it meant I could drop whmcs or hostbill cost for example.
I dont accept that whm** licesning is fair. It's not. the contract is with whmcs for the product and is not dependant on how many clients i have in the system. After all, I keep the software alive and secure on our own systems and resources which does not impact on whmcs costs.
Upmind support has been great for me - relatively quick to respond, and being able to allow them remote access between specific dates is brilliant and easy. The system has also always been quick to login, and use, from various internet connections. Would I like a lower price? yes - for one admin user perhaps around the £10 month mark. But then I want the world on a stick too.
That all being said - I did forget I had some other admin users that help out, and I would certainly not pay £17 month for them to login. Maybe a price for one admin users and then a slightly higher for "up to 3" ?? or reduced license for non invoicing admins or something? I dont know, maybe @Seb can chip in with his thoughts.

Sounds great Seb. I do not like the marketplaces of other systems. There is no accountability for paid plugins, and when you browse, lack of updates, mixed reviews and no consideration if the add on should actually be part of the core system. Just need to browse them and look for ovh or vultr addons for example.

Just in case anyone else has the same issue, simply add the server nameservers into the custom fields and it works. A workaround perhaps, but one that works.

I haven’t explored the upmind pricing lists per customer/group , but is something that is a current headache that I hope upmind could resolve. Some clients paying different prices for products. How would we envisage a mass update tool working where you might have different pricing structures in place?

I do not wish to add our bank details to email, for potential email security and fraud reasons. Instead I wish to add it into the PDF invoice that is sent (regardless of payment gateway). I am unclear where or how to do this though. Can anyone shed some light?
A future request would be for the brand / invoice template to have a preview or wysiwyg option!

However if you want send emails from your brand there is a option. (Setting ---> Notification Channels) You can find custom SMTP. I can suggest you use default email system for better delivery. Upmind only take care the default email system, for custom domain you have to take care friend.
ThanksThank you. My main concern is push back from clients, as the domain looks odd. I’m just setting up a small cloud network and setting up the email is a pain, but I don’t want to subscribe to an outgoing relay if I don’t have to.

Hello - any guidance on how to use this please, or format the the csv need to take? I'd like to try importing a small selection of clients for example, or maybe an export of invoices per client from another system - but not sure how to go about it. I appreciate this feature is just hot off of the press 😉

Hi all
Is anyone using the default upmind email ? ie @randomtext.upmind.com ?? Has there been any feedback from your clients? I was going to setup our project with custom smtp for sending out - ie so replies are send from @mydomain.com but then I have to worry about email deliverability, spam filtering / blocking etc whereas using the default, upmind takes care of that.
@upmind loving the new features update posts again 🙂

I want to link to the client login area in upmind from a web page. A simply image or text with the url. However I cant work out the url? The default has been set to the shop in upmind for the elanding page. I did see a widget, but that was for domains. What would be the url I use??

Yeah don’t think it does and I don’t want to create a dns template to fudge something. Will just use set name for now. Still interested in email templates if anyone wanted to share!!
