Force customers to create a company address on registration

Currently clients have to create an address on registration, but in my country, in order to create an invoice you need the tax id (mandatory).

Would you consider a setting where you force clients to create a business type address, which already includes the tax id field?

Right now I'm using custom customer fields, but's is not very straightforward and the tax-id mechanism already exists.
