[any updates from upmind?]

It's the lack of communication that's done it for me.

I have been using WHMCS for years and nothing out there ever enticed me to move away, not even price hikes, until I came across Upmind. 

But the lack of updates, communication, and the fact that this is a Saas product has made me change my mind.

Is there an export option should we want to move away from Upmind? I see an import option but no export option.

I think a self-hosted option would support further confidence in Upmind as having a third party store customer data is a little risky, hence why most prefer WHMCS.

I hope so because I have been patiently waiting over a year and no features discussed have yet been implemented. Hopefully this changes in the update.

[A little more control over branding]

A little more control on branding would be good. 

Currently there is no way to change button colours, font sizes etc they look out of place.

[Enhance: Provision as Staging option]

Yes or have a temp (preview) url staging sites have. 

I’ve spoken to Enhance about their staging process, as it currently is it just doesn’t work. Hopefully in time they sort it out.

Thanks Seb, not really keen on 20i to be honest, the only attraction is their domain pricing which is why I asked if they were being added as domain registrar.

Been working with ResellerClub for over 10 years but just can't stomach their pricing anymore, since Endurance swallowed them pricing has increased dramatically.

There isn't much wholesaler options here in the UK, only one closest to home is OpenProvider but I know very little about them and there is hardly any reviews for them which is a little odd.

Sorry meant BCC all system emails.

It's just to keep an eye on all emails sent out by the system, plus, there are so many email templates that you are bound to miss one.

Most features I have requested on here are standard on WHCMS. I know you can't add them all.

Why was the decision to remove the part branded email addresses made? (E.g [email protected])

I’ve switched to our own SES account as the generic email address generated by the system looks a little tacky.

I have seen a lot of people ask for Namecheap - but I’ve never known them to offer domain reselling.

[Can you optionally provision hosting accounts?]

I have a service where I am able to give clients the option to include hosting, if they select no then a new hosting account will not be provisioned for them. Package price remains the same, regardless if they want hosting or not.

For me to moveover to Upmind I will need to see the following:

1. One invoice for multiple services
2. Pro-rata billing without having to modify subscriptions
3. Instant invoices
4. Invoice cacellation / admin side
5. Better Paypal integration

Global email variables would be good too but not essential.

Quick invoice would be good.I think many of us that will transition from WHMCS will be looking for features like these.

I tried the suggestion above but not seeing a way to cancel an invoice, only options are 'pay invoce', 'credit invoice', 'Regenerate', 'Change Due Date', 'Select Payment Method', 'Create Order Template' and 'Send Email'. No cancel option?

[Contract Settings Per Product]

Like WHMCS it would be good to be able to auto-provision some services and manually approve others.

From what I can see, there is only one global setting for this under Contract Settings.

I suppose this is the only way forward for now but I will have test this myself as a paying customer as clients are not very forgiving, there is very little patience if something goes wrong.

Can Upmind generate a single invoice if a customer has several services?

I have several customers with multiple packages and services, with WHMCS it can be set to send a single invoice for all services rather than an invoice for each subscription. 

This also works well in hand with pro rata billing.

OK so a subscription has to be created in order to be able change this?

Is this something you will consider changing in the future? Having to modify each subscription will become a bit of pain. Ideally, this would be handy to have set up upon product creation.
