Disgruntled Posted September 26 Share Posted September 26 I am trying to use Upmind's new interface for TMD Hosting. To be blunt, it sucks. I couldn't enter the Control Panel, which is a must for hosting users, and was told to allow popups in the browser. What is this, 1998? The old TMD interface had a button that took you right there. The support system was made for a web host, not a billing service. I allowed popups, but still nothing happened. Then I went back and the BUTTON for going to the Control Panel was gone. Whoever is handling Support for TMD keeps apologising. This is webmaking 101, people. It's a button. I can make one in 10 seconds, and if I want to add security, I can add it. I would never use a pop-up and require users to enable or disable basic functions. (And it still doesn't work.) The old interface for TMD Hosting was professional, easy to navigate, and worked for people who used the hosting service. I cancelled my TMD hgosting and now using another platform which is 10x faster and 4x less expensive, and has a fantastic, easy-to-use and complete UI for its customers. Upmind has ruined the experience for TMD customers, and I assume some hundreds more will be abandoning the service when they realise they are being overcharged for a service that can't even put up a working web site. For specific hosting-related issues, I recommend reaching out to your hosting support team for further assistance. Regarding the ‘Login to Control Panel’ button: it opens in a new window, which requires pop-ups to be enabled in your browser. This functionality allows you to log in without needing to enter your username and password each time. If pop-ups are enabled and you’re still facing issues, it may be related to an ad blocker or security settings in your browser. Please check those settings to ensure they’re not interfering.
