You can require phone number on registration.

i did this already but it doesn't show the phone number filed on signup

I don't use that setting but as far as I know, phone numbers are part of addresses, so maybe the phone number is required when placing the first order and you need to add an address.

Alright but would be great if users can input their phone number on signup

Hi DotHost,

The input phone number is default one during singup now.
