Email templates are a painful

First of all, completely agree this is clunky. Like in a lot of places, we've been focusing on getting functionality out and then will come back to make things simpler later

 

What you are after here is a product notification as it can be different per product (i.e. for a domain vs a hosting package)

 

Go to the product in the product catalogue, then go to product notifications. Then add a notification on contract product suspended

 

You'll need to add that for each product you want to send the suspended email for

Here's an example template with placeholders for anyone reading this:

Dear {{ client.first_name }},<br ><br >

Your {{ brand.name }} hosting package has been suspended due to non-payment.<br ><br >

<strong>Hosting account name:</strong> {{ contracts_product.product_name }}<br>
<strong>Domain:</strong> {{ contracts_product.service_identifier }} <br>
<br >

Please settle your overdue invoices to bring the hosting account back online. Failure to pay may result in service termination. If you no longer wish to continue with your hosting package please request a cancellation in our system.<br ><br >

Thanks<br >

{{ brand.name }}
