Luis
There is a possibility that cilents only order domain names + other non provisionable services (like emails and so on). I see there's a global name servers default for domains here: admin/host/domain-names/settings. But generally each registrar would have their own name servers (at least the ones that host DNS for free), so I believe it would be escential that each registrar configuration also include the nameservers for that registrar. So if clients order only domains, those nameservers would be configured. But if they order domain + hosting, the hosting service namesevers would take over.
Luis
There's a complementary request here, each provisioning provider/server should have their own nameservers that would take over domain NS in case they order domain + hosting (for example)
Luis
Hi @Seb Is this something planed for the future? Name server determined by contracted registrar and/or hosting service? Thanks.
vira
Hi Luis, Yes, we have this plan, the idea is that we will have some logic to intelligently choose which nameservers to set in the domain name.
