Seb
Shouldn't be too long - it's quite high up on the list. We'll do whichever is more straightforward of Flutterwave or Razorpay first. Any other gateways that you would be interested in?
Viswanath VB
Razorpay is popular in india. try to add fast as possible. 😀

Hivium
@Seb, Also you can include PayU India as well. Bring at least one gateway for India. We have been waiting very long for this.

Seb
We moved to working on gateways earlier this week. First we will do Paystack, and thereafter RazorPay

Seb
Hopefully yes - it depends on lots of factors, not least of which is any problems encountered in the integration

Seb
We have payments and refunds working in a test environment. So ETA next week at the latest for this to be available. RazorPay have two options: - Payment Links (what we have implemented so far). This allows all their payment methods but does not tokenise payments for automatic future charging - API integration for credit and debit cards. This supports tokenisation for automatic future charging Presumably we need to support both?
BMA
Yes, Seb. Both are required. Does the Payment Links method include UPI payments and net banking? More than 50% of payments are done using UPI. 1
Seb
Yes exactly. It also allows card payments - but just not automatic recharging of them. So if you wanted both you would say clients can pay by 'Credit or Debit Card' (the card implementation) or 'Direct Payment' (Razorpay redirect)

We feel that it was a much needed gateway for all the businesses that are waiting to go live through upmind in India. And before any feature, payments gateway is very much essential. Above mentioned both options are very much essential for businesses like us in Indian market. 1. Please note Credit Card/Debit Card, UPI, QR Code scanning are one of the most used payment methods by Indian consumers. Just see, that these integrations via RazorPay works perfectly. 2. Also, let us know by when the final testings will be completed and RazorPay will be live for usage on upmind platform? Thank You.
Seb
This is live for use now We've prioritised getting the UPI, QR code integration done - which means that everyone in India can pay There is a separate Razorpay integration coming in future which allows you to take credit and debit cards only and tokenise them

We are now waiting for the CC/DC gateway as Stripe doesn't accept most of the Indian Debit/Credit Cards.
Seb
You should be able to use the UPI/QR gateway for this also. The only thing we understand is not supported by this gateway (this is Razorpay's end, not to do with us) is tokenisation for repeat payments
Hivium
The UPI/QR only works for UPI and QR payments. Doesn't show up the option for Credit/Debit Cards.
BMA
In the payment providers setting, disable the 'UPI' checkbox.
